Fall Diversity Hosting Weekend?

Has anyone gotten any email about this? I'm about to submit my application, but I am curious about what the usual applicant/accepted person is like. I want to know my chances! Please reply!

It’s always high achieving minority students from around the country. I’ve hosted DHW students every semester I’ve been a student, and it’s always been a blast :)

So do you have any statistical information about these students such as their SAT/ACT scores, their race, etc.? Because I just want to get the gist of my chances.

No, I don’t believe they publish this information anywhere.

Just apply, I don’t know many people who got turned down.

hey guys, i completed the online application and sent my transcript in already. how do i do the profile form and the essay? is that all in the online application? i havent received any e-mail saying i completed the online application or anything… and im going nuts cause the deadline is tomorrow!

You have to get the profile from your guidance counselor and the essay was included in the application. It was about the bottom asking:

“Please use this essay to describe what you know about Cornell and what you hope to gain from visiting campus if selected to participate in this program. Please limit your essay to no more than 500 words.”

Lol. Minorities are such procrastinators; I submitted mine last night, fearful they would close the application at midnight.
