Fall Semester: Calc, Spanish, or Theology

My planned schedule is:

Human Bio-4 cr
General Chem-3 cr
Chem Lab-2 cr
Intro to International Health- 3 cr
First Year Seminar- 1 cr

I'm on a premed track and taking Stats second semester. I'm just wondering what other course I should add-should I finish off a core requirement (theology), take calculus (I've taken it in high school), or take Spanish (I tested into Intermediate Spanish II, but I probably would take a lower class).

Help!

I would take theology or Spanish. Theology sounds the most interesting in my opinion.

Do you need any of these classes to be on track to complete your major in four years? If you are a science major, it might be convenient to take calculus early because it might be a pre-requisite for many other classes you will have to take down the line.

If that’s not a concern for you, take whatever you think would make the most pleasant schedule. For me personally, pleasant means interesting and engaging. If you have an add/drop period, I would encourage you to attend several classes before you make your final decision. An engaging professor is 10x more important than the content of the class.

Theology is a core requirement? Or do you have distribution groups and theology fulfills one group? If it’s the former, that’s actually really peculiar and awesome.

Spanish seems to be the most practical, but take whatever course you feel will be the most engaging.

Theology is a core requirement for me. However, I’m going to have to take all three of these courses at one point.
