Fall semester W's

<p>First of all, I'm mad enough at myself.</p>

<p>I'm just curious if 6 W's on my transcript will leave my chances at acceptance to UC Riverside fatal. </p>

<p>This semester I took a majority of online classes so that I could work to pay for school. It was enough to balance as it was but then my older brother got very ill (2 seizures and his kidney's are failing) and stuff just kind of got really intense and I definitely stopped prioritizing school. </p>

<p>I will be staying an extra semester at my CC, as I can no longer meet the requirements for transfer at this time.</p>

<p>Again, I was just wondering if this semester is going to put a bullet in me being able to transfer to UCR next year.</p>

<p>It seems the UCs don’t care very much about Ws. I think you’ll be fine. However, if you want, you can state on your UC application why you received these Ws. The UCs are very understanding about life getting in the way of school, be it work, family, or other kinds of personal circumstances.</p>
