I got my fifth choice. Actually, it was my 11th choice before getting rid of the schedule conflicts... but it ended up being a good course, even though I wouldn't have chosen it.

I had eleven papers/projects due on Dean's Date once... (!)

That's really crazy!

Did you make the famous run, litho? 'cause that would be awesome :D

And yeah, no e-mail for me either. I really hope that means no fall seminar for me...

Yea because a spring one will be better for me.

Ick, I got a fall writing seminar...oh well, have to take it sometime...

I don't mind the seminar (though the topics didn't really appeal to me) but I feel like I was only free to pick one indulgence class this semester (the others being stuff I kinda HAVE to take for major or lang requirement) and I feel like if I wait too long it might not be offered any more...silly me :o

Let's put it this way... my goal for the next two semesters is to be WATCHING the run. Because I haven't been able to before. :-P

(I'm one of the unlucky engineers who gets papers AND exams.)

Ok guys, I just got an e-mail telling me I have the writing seminar in the spring.

Me too! Yay, I got what I wanted.

Haha, me too! Yay for spring seminars!

Spring it is, I suppose :)

Got spring. Go me.

lets see, i gotta take MAT2xx, ORF245, JPN101, ECO101, and WRI seminar, oh and FRS.

D@MN it. thats SIX.

Umm maybe that's a compelling case for switching the writing to spring? Or maybe you can take some of those other courses later... I don't think it's possible for you to take 6 first semester freshman year...

well you don't have to take orf245 in the fall. and you don't have to take a FRS

is ORF245 required for ECO311? because if it is, i would really like to take orf245 in the fall. ECO311 would really help me get an econ internship next summer.

may hafta drop the FRS. thats too bad, some of em were really cool.

I don't think ORF245 is required for ECO311. I could be wrong since I'm planning on taking ECO301, but I don't remember seeing ORF as an requirement...I think the requirement for ECO301/311 are ECO100/101 and ECO202?

orf245 is not required for ECO311. and ECO311 is a hard pain in the a$$ class. if you take it as a frosh you will be one of like 3 freshmen in the class

Is ECO311 required for econ majors?
