It all depends if you applied for an impacted major or not. If you applied for an impacted major, like electrical engineering, you are required to submit official preliminary transcripts from each school that you attended in order for your application to be reviewed. They had to be post marked by the indicated date on your broncodirect page. If you did that and have not seen the transcript request removed from your “to do list”, just sit tight because they received a lot of applications this year and are taking longer to process them. With that being said, students who applied to non-impacted majors will receive their acceptance/rejection letters first. Hope this helps.

@cubancaballo thnanks for the input. also, impacted majors must fill out an engineering supplemental application, but still have not gotten word about that from csupomona

My status is still ‘application received’ and I haven’t received any updates through e-mail besides the reminder to update courses if necessary back in January. I am a transfer student and applied for the Business Administration major.

Thanks for the the information cubancaballo!

@bulls2012
I’m still on ‘application received’ as well. I think it’s because I applied 10/31 =

Well, I just got home from phys lab and checked to see that the site was experiencing problems or whatever. -_-’

I applied as a math major and am just waiting to hear back but this morning it also just said “Application Received” like any other day.

@linguini01 thanks for the heads up on the supplemental material info. I also applied to the UC’s and I’ve received e-mails from some of them regarding supplemental info and their due dates. Yet, I have not received any e-mail or otherwise from Pomona regarding that same information. If you receive any correspondence from Pomona regarding supplemental material, would you please be so kind as to post it to this thread when you do receive it, as i will do the same? Thank you.

@cubancaballo no problem

My status went from “application received” to “ready for review” within the last couple of days. I had issues with them receiving my transcript (had to send out a 2nd one) and it looks like they just got it. I’m transferring into an impacted major. An email I got from the College of Ag awhile ago says “Offers of admission are expected to be sent out in March.”

My status just went to “ready to review” today…laggers

Ugh I’m STILL on ‘application received’, my major is nonimpacted and I heard you’ll usually be noticed earlier if it is… but still I see no changes =[

@visom1: on the same page, does it say application completed or incomplete? My status changed from “application received” to “ready to review” after they received my transcripts.

moon9kittie, for us non-impacted majors transfers we are not to send transcripts unless requested. However im beginning to believe that probably we did have to send them, since my status is still in “application received”.

@Moon9kittie
It says ‘application completed’. A forumer here who has applied 30 days earlier than me received ‘ready for review’ last week or two, so I’m suspecting in another 3-4 weeks I’ll see something change.

@Lindros
During the holidays broncdirect says I needed to submit my transcripts, which I didn’t until a few days later because school was closed. Once school reopened it checked broncodirect once more to double check and it no longer said I needed to submit transcripts. I called CPP and the woman quickly said ‘that means we got it ourselves from your school, so you don’t need to submit it anymore’. I never heard of schools getting our transcripts on their own.

@Lindros: I applied to non-impacted major; however, I was requested to send my transcripts before 2/10. If you application says “application completed” on the main page, and there is no transcript request, I think you should be fine. Pomona usually is slow on decisions.

@visom1: they just updated mine yesterday as well, so it might take them several days before they update the status for everyone.

@visom1: lb state actually requested transcripts on my behalf :)

im still on application recieved and i had to fill out the impacted survey thing last month. im not even at ready to review!

@BeachHouse when/how/where did you get the impacted survey? on my bronco direct it says i need to fill one out but that they will contact me first…??

I got it through email
I got it in December

@Citiz3nerased
csulb requested my transcripts as well, but i applied as impacted for csulb though. For CPP i applied as nonimpacted so im not suppposed to send my transcripts yet

they havent even requested my transcript lol
