There does seem to be a consistency of higher test scores in determining who gets asked to interview for DHS . But I still hope you are correct in your comments re interviews.
Most of what I post is based on observation and experience. Occasionally I have direct information due to communications from people at Tulane. In this case, I have no direct information. Last year was the first time they did interviews, and based on communications from people who won, what I said is historically accurate, woefully short though that history may be. Like any data from a small sampling, it is subject to greater error. In this case that means Tulane is at least somewhat more likely to learn from their first time and make changes, like they did with making the initial email clearer. Still, having said that, my instinct is that what I said is still correct. That is worth what you want it to be, I suppose.
