Falling Asleep

In October, I went to bed at 10, thinking I was going to wreck the SAT the next day, but I fell asleep at 3am, so the SAT wrecked me.

I didn’t do any practice the few days before, and I was very nervous. Also, I went to bed at around 11:30 the past few days.

This time for December, I’ve been going to bed at 10:45 for the past 3 days. I did a full practice test today and scored well on it, and I’m not that stressed. I just don’t know how I can get enough sleep guaranteed.

advice?

Avoid caffeine in the afternoon/evening, E.g. soda or coffee. Period.

Avoid any “stressful” activities 1/2 hour before bedtime, including strenuous exercise and using your phone/computer to check news/social media etc.

Occasionally I will also take a melatonin pill, especially if it’s a night where I’d need good sleep.
