I’m just finishing up my USC apps and my major requires a letter of rec. I have one that my professor has written, but I don’t know where to send it. On the supplement app it says this:

"All applicants to Broadcast and Digital Journalism, Print and Digital Journalism, or Public Relations majors must submit a one-page Statement of Intent, explaining their reasons for pursuing an education and career in journalism or public relations. Please attach your response to the Supplement.

Transfer applicants must also submit a recommendation from a college/university instructor or their college academic advisor."

There is an upload button but it only saves one at a time. I’m assuming that I’m only supposed to upload the statement of intent, and not the letter of rec. I’ve been searching the website for how they want us to submit letters of rec but I’m not having any luck. Can anyone help?

Responding to USC2016: We are overseas as well. My D received an acceptance package from another university via DHL. It only had our PO box on the address, but they also had her contact info (phone number, e-mail) and I believe they either sent an e-mail or called her to get our home address.
Good Luck!

My son’s counselor rec and teacher rec were sent directly from his high school. His other letter of rec was sent diretly to his admissions counselor by the person that wrote it. If you have any questions you should call or email an admissions person. Good luck!

That address should work. If you don’t have a USC ID number, you can use your Common Application reference number. I f that is not available, be sure your name is the same as it is on your application and include your birthdate - they will be able to match it up.

Does anyone know how they treat transfer credits not specified on the articulation agreement? Two of my classes are not on the articulation history and I only have 31 credits. >.< Wish I would have thought about that before.

And also does any one have a Admissions office number?

Does anyone know when the decisions for Thornton start to be sent out? Is there one admissions decision sent for Thornton and USC in general or do they send out separate admissions letters?

Does anyone know when USC scholarships offers are going to be mailed out? My brother applied last year and he received a letter the day after his letter of acceptance about a Deans Scholarship to the Engineering school. Is USC more likely to give scholarships to the Engineering school than to the Arts schools? If anyone has recieved a scholarship already, please let me know and reply.

I am selected as a finalist for presidential scholarship. Can some one offer some suggestions to me? What kind of questions do they generally ask? Would you recommend preparing for the interview in any way?

You should visit the link further down the page relating to Trustee/Presidential Scholarships. I think the dates for the interviews for Fall of 2012 are complete. Good Luck!

Does anyone know if being in a running start program (going to community college during high school to earn college credits) will boost your chances of getting into USC? I am worried because I only have 1 or 2 extra curriculars per year, but it’s hard with a job and college classes. Will USC take that into account?
