surprisingly, a lot. in many colors. idk, i don't get it either...

ok, here is my typical wardrobe. i am sure i represent a good chunk of the ucla population (although admittedly, close to zero of the sorority girls dress like me. or i should say, i don't ever try to dress like them ;) )

jeans (comfortable, not fashionable. the ones i've been breaking in for years, that fit me well, and make me feel like myself, not like someone trying to squeeze into stick-thin no-spare-material denim leggins)

flip flops (preferably reef brand, the MOST COMFORTABLE and blister-free flip flops i have ever found. either that, or my trusty new balance 621's)

tee shirt. old navy is a good standby, or ucla gear. i mix in some charlotte russe or nicer shirts from macy's, as well as tees with slogans. occasionally you will see me in a button-down, or one of those cute flowing sort of tops, if i'm headed to westwood with friends or something.

sweatshirt. generally ucla-oriented. but, UNLIKE a few crazy people, i do NOT wear a thick sweatshirt when it's 80 or more degrees out! i love ucla, but not that much that i've gotta wear sweatshirt-sized UCLA letters, lol.

also, sunglasses would be advisable. gets pretty painful coming out of some math science dungeon into the bright of day xD

what i do NOT wear:

uggs, shortshort skirts, tight jeans tucked into stiletto boots, designer shoes, heels, designer sunglasses, tanktops/spaghetti straps that show so much it becomes awkward to look at, designer bookbags/purses, sweatpants with words/logos written on the butt, those weird short wide cloth pant thingys, etc.

now, keep in mind that there will be people who would post the exact opposite. people wear the things i don't, and wouldn't dream of wearing the things i do. at least not on such a regular basis.

so what my long and half-asleep post boils down to is, wear what makes you feel you. whatever that is. there are so many people here with so many different senses of fashion (this is not u$c where everyone seems to dress alike). but there is one underlying rule: people can sense a phony. just be true to your own style, and people will respect that. :)
