So I'm heading to UCLA this fall(so I posted here!), and I'm a tad bit worried about what exactly to wear. I'm a girl, but have pretty much cross-dressed or wore non gender specific clothes throughout high school.
I don't really plan on a radical makeover, but I don't really want to stick out too much like I have in high school, so I'd love to hear wardrobe ideas that involve a similar style! I'm generally a pretty 'shabby' dresser(baggy clothes for semi formal environments and the like), and I don't know much about the weather specific aspect and all, so it would be really helpful!

I don’t think you’ll really stick out at UCLA because of the clothes you wear. Even if people notice, they won’t really bat an eyelash about it. I think there will be a lot of variation and diversity compared to what you’ve experience in high school. I can’t really comment on style though. The weather might put a damper on your style though because it’s usually pretty sunny at UCLA, and people like to wear shorts, so baggy pants and the like might be uncomfortable during the hotter seasons.

You’re in college, young, and discovering yourself. Wear whatever you want. Go shopping often to build your wardrobe on things you find that you like, not things you think other people would like or what you “should” wear. No one cares what you wear, so you should only care about wearing stuff that makes you happy. Just keep in mind that the average temperature year round is about 70 and slightly humid. Good luck!
