<p>Yeah, I know that with the internet, many students can instantly find out whether they've been accepted to Yale or not the moment the decisions are sent out. But I opt to wait for the snail mail and wonder if there is any difference between an acceptance letter or a rejection letter based on the envelope alone (specifically for Yale's Single Choice Early Action).</p>
<p>On decision day, usually around 5 PM eastern time, you can log on to your Eli account and if you're accepted you'll see Handsome Dan and hear music playing. :)</p>
<p>maybe i will just click the link and close my eyes then..then if i hear music its great and if i don't..well it might be less devastating then reading it immediately haha</p>
<p>I am actually gonna do the exact same thing. Reading "Rejected" will not be fun, so I'll just turn up my speakers and if I hear music I'll go crazy. If not, I'll close the window and forget what was already expected.</p>
