FAU or UNF for psychology

with one has a better program

Going off of USNWR Graduate rankings for psychology, FAU is not ranked, but still on the list. Whereas UNF is not. This is because FAU offers PhD, whereas UNF only offers masters. If this is any indicator of the quality? It’s possible.

where will be a better choice fau or unf

Again, going off of USNWR, while it is not the only ranking list and is not perfect, UNF is a tier 1 university, ranking in at #51 in the country. FAU is a tier 2, meaning it holds no specific rank. Tiers range from 1-4. For undergraduate eduction, UNF may be a better school.

ok. what about fiu??? or fgcu???

FIU, like FAU is a tier 2 school. Meaning not as highly reputable as tier 1 schools. Both FGCU and UNF are tier 1 schools. FGCU ranks as #83, as compared to UNF #51. There is not much a difference between the two schools overall. I would recommend seeing which is the best “fit.” Go to their campuses if you can and see how you like it. Other things you may want to do are check what classes they offer, to see if they generally have classes you like. Compare what classes are required to complete majors and what the general education requirements are. If you plan to live on campus, see what housing is like and what if offered. Both UNF and FGCU are good choices.

seems that UNF is a better school than FAU but what about UCF or USF for psychology

Choose usf!!!

Lucky93, what field within psychology are you interested in? For instance, FAU has a psychobiology program - the biology of psychology - whereas most of the other schools do not (that I’m aware of).

Honestly Psychology is a pretty worthless degree unless you are very adamant about getting into counseling or doing psych research (i.e. infant development). A graduate psychology degree is all that matters if you’re truly interested in psychology.
