What's your favorite high school experience? Mine so far was freshmen year when I wrote a horrible essay and my teacher started reading it as a bad essay and out of no where she started crying with laughter!!! I didn't fell humiliated at all because I thought it was hilarious, too and couldn't believe it was my paper. Everytime I talk to her now, we usually mention it. That essay actually created a "bond" between me and my english teacher.

one time during freshman year i was in advisory when the 10th graders were taking the CAHSEE, and some ghetto chick got ****ed at this guy so she grabbed a snapple bottle and broke the neck off on a desk and put it to his neck. it was insane. she got arrested and expelled and the principal interviewed everyone. lolzzzzzzzz@my school.

Why didn't you believe it was your paper? You wrote it, didn't you? Lol.

I find it funny how you created a bond through a bad paper. I wonder how many English teachers respond the same way to an amazing paper. Why was writing a bad paper amusing, anyway?

^^ lol honestly, I didnt realize it was so bad. I knew it was bad since I kinda was bored and felt like entertaining myself with an essay and didn't proof read it. There were so many grammar mistakes and some things to make it entertaining made my english teacher and every single class she have dying. Also, sorry for misspelling experience on the thread title.

I got a C.

So far when me and my class did a skit making fun of the faculty in front of the whole school at housemeeting last year. It was so funny. Some of the teachers were sooo embarrassed. It was great.

I try and make everyday at class memorable. I haven't done too much this year, but last year, a few times and in different classes, I would run around on top of school furniture and the teacher would just laugh and shake her head.

i haven't been going to my hs for too long, but there's a funny memory from last year. it was the second month of school, and we had come-as-you're-not day (when u dress up as someone you're totally not).

at that point, i was still under the category that my sister and brother put me under (my last name is its own category at my school, it's just this thing we have), so i was basically the super-smart kinda-quiet white girl.

on come-as-you're-not day, i came in full-out ghetto. the whole white-shoes thing, my pants at that certain hight, the chain, the shirt, the do-rag, the yanks ghetto hat with the sticker (i got some ghetto friends that gave me their stuff). i even did the walk.

so ppl looked at me and thought i was this ghetto white boy that everyone knew (really small school), and they did a double-take and went crazy.

after that, i was totally comfortable with my school and wasn't scared about fitting in anymore, and i started to make new friends. it was kinda the ice-breaker. it was a good memory.

this year for come-as-your-not-day...

i'm punk

got it all planned out, baby ;)

There was this contest to get Gym Class Heroes to come to your school, and our whole school banded together and voted like crazy and we won. It was so amazing to see all 3000 of us band together for one common goal, and when they came, everyone was so hyped and happy, it was so awesome.

My high school experience has been mostly not too high and not too low. No real high or low points.

Last year at a pep rally, our student council president decided to challege one of the state champion wrestlers at our school. He went flying through the air, and the whole school loved it.

Getting wasted.

Just kidding. Maybe.

one of my top memories is probably in freshmen english class. we had to write a christmas song using another song and changing the words. my two friends went up to perform and one sings amazingly and the other pretty much sucks. so the one who sings good sings her part and the other one goes to sing and just sits down and refuses to sing. hah. i dont think ill ever forget that

one time in class, we were watching this video about a woman giving a lecture about premarital sex and teen pregnancy, std's, etc. and she started giving a really graphic description about a teen that had an abortion. well, a kid in my class passed out from watching the video (mind you, there were no actual graphic images shown on screen, but the woman was only describing it). needless to say, word spread and everyone (including some teachers) made fun of the kid.

My sophomore year we started studying Puritanism. So we walk into class this one day and all the lights are off and the room is set up like a church. And someone walks in and said something and we all kinda chuckled, and the teacher goes "Why are you laughing?" All crazy like. The whole class was like a throwback into the Puritan area.

But wait, it gets better.

So the whole class knows that I'm a very devout Christian. So the next day (she OK'd this with me first) she tells the class that I complained to the Administration and she was getting fired, and she and I totally acted like it was true. And everyone got SO angry at me. And she even went so far as to have another teacher call her and act like the other teacher was the Principal. So we leave the classroom and then walk back in laughing and the whole class just started cracking up when they realized it wasn't true (she did stuff like that a lot).

It was great.

math club was pretty hardcore in general.

My favorite high school experience will take place on June 8, 2008 at 4:00 PM, when I graduate and get the hell out!

Amen, Chelly!

For me, that will occur roughly 1 day and several hours later. But, same idea.

Some guy superglued himself to a flagpole, and it took the administrators forever to get him down.

We had a fire alarm one day out of nowhere. Turns out some girl was having a baby (She was a freshman and this was her 4th baby).

We have gang fights/fist fights at least once a week.

We are a "D" rated school (I think we moved up to "C" this year, whoopee) and according to USNEWS, we're a top 10 school....
