vu, you must really love your cheap eats :P

wow seems like most of you live on east coast, as i have never heard of many of these places

I'm with ubercool on this,
Olive Garden's salad, breadsticks, and just about everything are pretty darn sabrosos.
Red Lobster's shrimp and lobsters are good as well as their buttery buttery biscuits.

Probably not too many people will have heard of this, but Todai. It's a Japanese buffet type restaurant with realllly good food and wide selection ranging from Lobster to sushi to crepes to whatever

I live in the midwest, so we don't have most of the places you've mentioned. However, I like Ruby Tuesday's, Olive Garden, and Chipotle (we don't have one in my hometown, but I've eaten at them before).

east buffet, whether its in nyc or long island

Alot of people like Chipotle, i never heard of them b4. guess there not common around here, nj

I think Chipotle is highly overrated. Baha Fresh is much better.

Local stuff. There's a little Chinese restaurant in the city centre that does the best fast food ever. :)

michelec, there aren't many, if any, in Jersey. However, I do know of at least one in the city.

Just checked the site and nope, there aren't any in Jersey. There are a few in the city though.

OMG "red06", I'm pretty sure it's different, but is this the same east buffet in SD? It has so much seafood for only 12 bucks a pop.

Haha...we don't have a single one of those restaurants where I live.

My favorites are:
Maggiano's Little Italy (bit on the expensive side though for steak)
The Englander (A little pub/restaurant we have here)
Applebees

My favorite restaurant is Dave and Buster's. I had my 16th birthday party there...I like Applebee's and Outback Steakhouse too.

Kyt - Maggiano's is one of my favorites too for sure. Forgot about that one!

Ugh. I had Olive Garden twice in my life, all within the last month.

Breadsticks = good. Everything else = EHHHH. I thought it was poor-mediocre quality.

I like sandwich places. I like (not love) Panera Bread, but I went to a Java place that I most likely will never visit again that was much better. Their food is to DIE for.

My favorite restaurant is Soong Thai, which is this classy--and gorgeous--Thai restaurant.

I love random Mexican digs as well. Mexican food is the best cuisine ever, as unhealthy and sometimes un-classy as it is.

i love maggiano's
chipotle > baja fresh, but neither are that spectacular.
cheesecake factory is good too.

but, my favorite restaurant is definately the melting pot. yummy delicious fondue. i love it! anyone that hasnt been should try it!!

green papaya is also delicious, but i believe its just local.

chipotle and baja fresh are sort of different, i like chipotle for what it is, straight and to the point, great for the amount and the cost. nobody can convince me otherwise
