Fearful for college

Okay, as a freshman in high school I know I should not be stressing very hard over college but my family pressures me to, with that being said, I’m stressing! I’m in my 3rd marking period out of four in my freshman year of high school. I always dreamed of going to the elite colleges including ivy leagues. Now that I know just how hard I will have to work to get in and my slight chances, I just wanna say I have downgraded and widened my choices.
What are my chances of still getting into a good college like NYU or Lehigh maybe even the elites. I have gotten honor roll all my life except 2 times and this marking period would be my 3rd time missing it because i failed my online class of Latin. I am also a black girl if that says anything, I also am playing softball, which is the reason for the downfall in my grades. I get A and B’s and one C so far in the first marking period in my Chemistry Honors class, which is an AP level even though freshman are not advised to take AP’s.
My schedule is:
AP US history part 1
Algebra 1 Honors
Gym
My period for my online latin class
English 1 Honors
Lunch
Chemistry Honors (AP technically, we have the ap book)
Geometry Honors
Spanish 2.

I have all A’s and B’s in those classes as a freshman, so how do you think my chances are? Especially if I work harder next marking period and keep up all my AP classes for the next few years? More extracurriculars too if that helps with volunteer work and high SAT scores. Do you think I have a chance with these downfalls, please be honest.

Thank you, Scared Freshman.

Continue working as hard as you can. Junior year is when you look critically at your achievements and see where you would have a shot. There is no use thinking about elites versus non elites now. Work hard but enjoy high school. Do things you like to do.
