February ACT

Hey everyone! I'm applying RD to 3 schools and have previously only taken the SAT except for an experimental ACT run last April (didn't go to well - 26 composite). My SAT II scores from December were okay, but nothing too great, and I'm taking the SAT I for the last time in January to see if I can bring up my math score. Do you think colleges would also look at the February 11 ACT if it helps my application since it's obvious that I took all the testing at appropriate times, yet seek to try the ACT once more??

Thanks to all and any tips on improving my score to around a 30 or 31? My subscores for my first time were 28 English, 27 Math, 27 Reading, and 22 Science.. time KILLED me.. lol

I don't know - sounds a little late to me, considering the colleges wouldn't get the scores until mid-March.

Is there any way to rush scores? Because colleges accept the January 28th SAT so it's not like those scores will be getting there that much sooner.. or will they?

It might, who knows. It wouldn't hurt asking the colleges (once their admission offices reopen).

The first score reports go out ten days after the test date (if you don't take writing). If your college gets scores electronically, it's possible they'd have them the next day. But there's no guarantee you'll be in that first batch (though chances are good, if you fill in your match information correctly on the answer sheet). You could try asking the admissions office how quickly they get ACT scores after the test date and whether February would be too late.
