For the FEE, if we have 5 on either of the APs, what do we do? Do we just sit tight and wait for them to recognize that we can place out of it? Or do we need to submit it to them via the AP Central site? When would that be due by?

How short are these essays that people are finishing them both in four hours?

I’m also trying to decide whether I want to take the first or second administration. Currently, I’m leaning pretty heavily towards the second, since my sister’s visiting me at school that weekend, I have a ton of rehearsals for my Senior Recital that Sunday, and finals start the next day.

Sorry I haven’t written in a while. I will be in Israel for the month of July for a science program. I’m going to do the FEE this weekend. Any tips? Is it reading intensive, and do you need to do research to write your essays? Also, this is unrelated, but do you know in F/ASIP (Freshman/Alumni Summer Internship Program) takes up part of the first semester credit limit. And do you know anyone who has done the global +1 language class (globalization and a 9 credit foreign language class)? It sounds really interesting. Thanks!

FEE: You don’t need to do any more research than what they give you. As for a tip, start it when you get it. While you can still pass by starting it the night before, it’s a huge pain.

F/ASIP: It does count towards the credit limit - however, you don’t get credit until the spring, so it won’t count towards your fall credit limit.

I think I heard someone say the essays were about 1000 words, but I might be thinking of something else.

(I really hope I don’t have to take the make-up FEE during orientation… I was cocky enough to assume that I’d get a 5 on AP Lit and I sort of assumed everyone else would do the same… now I see that everyone’s taking the FEE and I’m a little freaked.)
