So what is the pros and cons of FAU's learning community houses, I am a criminal justice major, would I be able to be in a learning community?

Found this for you:

[FAU - Criminal Justice](http://www.fau.edu/CLASS/LearningCommunity/LLCCurrent/interestin/interestcrimjust.php)

From what I understand:

Pros are you’re with the same group of people, living nearby each other, taking almost all the same classes.

Pros are you’re with the SAME group of people, living nearby each other, taking almost all the same classes… you know?

There’s less flexibility but when it works out, when you make friends, and it seems like the program is pretty successful since they keep adding new communities and expanding it… when it works, it works well.

If you’re coming to FAU, you don’t know many people (or any people) coming there with you, and you plan to live on campus anyway… I’d say go for it. Worst case scenario you try it for a year and get out, live on your own, select your own classes.

Hope that helps.
