Feel like I'm not as busy as I should be? How do I find and start new activities?

My typical day consists of going to school, coming home, doing homework and studying, and going to sleep. I am self studying 3 APs and taking 4 in school (7 APs total). Thursdays I volunteer at a local elementary school as a tutor for 45 minutes. Saturdays I volunteer a few hours for a state assembly campaign. I am not an officer of any clubs at school. I am a member of the debate team and badminton team but have low involvement.
Only two days a week can I say I did something other than study. I come home and sit in front of my computer and do homework while most people I know are in robotics or doing club activities or something else engaging. I really want to have something to do after school everyday that isn't studying out of a book, but I have no idea where to start. It seems hard to find things to do and since I'm a second semester junior, time is running out to "find my passion" and get good at it.
My question is: how do I find after school activities this late in high school, how do I get more involved? I need meaningful extracurriculars that isn't just volunteer work.
Also for summer I might have nothing to do. I was rejected from 2/3 programs I applied to and I am waiting on the last one (cosmos) to be released on 4/18. If I am rejected I don't have plans for summer. My extracurriculars for my high school career so far are just debate, badminton, and 4 common volunteer activities (2 that happened in summer, 2 ongoing). If it helps I want to go to UCB or UCLA.

I feel like time is running out and I have nothing to show for my high school career but grades and tests.

Find what you enjoy doing and do it.

You seem fine…self studying 3 APs, 2 volunteer stuff, and debate/badminton is just fine. When you say you have “low involvement” in debate/badminton is that because you don’t like it? Honestly, No one can tell you what to pursue, unless you say what you like to do, but if you must, I think it would be very hard for a current junior to gain an officer position in any new clubs, so the only option left is to create your own! Create a club for something that you like to do. For the summer, if you end up not having any summer commitments, consider working/more volunteering. There is nothing wrong with volunteering or working over the summer.

Also, I suggest changing your attitude toward volunteering. “I need meaningful extracurriculars that isn’t just volunteer work.” Sometimes, volunteering is the only meaningful EC.

I feel the same. I’m juggling five APs and a few other honors classes, volunteer infrequently (not by choice; just meets infrequently), math team ended a month or so ago, and I do research stuff. I began tutoring someone, but I’m not sure if that’ll continue.
Not as heavy as some of my friends’ ECs. I

@rollingduck what research stuff do you do and how did you get the position?
