looking through here i'm beginning to feel kinda stupid. i mean everyone seems to be taking way more ap classes than i am. if my school offered more than 4 ap's i would be thrilled, but that just isn't the case. is there anyone else out there like me?

The first rule about CC is.................................that it will make you feel like a dang fool. =)

Don't feel stupid. At S's school juniors just take one AP (a few kids may have 2 if they have a language AP), if any. Seniors MAY take 2 or 3.

see here's the thing, i would absolutely love to take more ap classes. however, that just isn't an option at our school. i have taken all 4 ap's my school offers and after reading all of this i feel like somehow that still isn't enough.

Colleges get a list of the courses offered at your school, so it won't affect your admissions chances. Besides, CCers tend to be way-above-average students, so don't let yourself start thinking that taking 15 APs is normal.

If colleges see the APs you took, and the list of APs offered, and you don't specifically write an AP test score on the application, will they still see it?

I wish my school had more classes in general, not just AP. AP-wise, we have:

English
US History
Calculus AB
Chem
Bio

And that's it.

We have 8 APs, but no chem. So I have to self study that or something..
