Feeling Stuck on SAT Math

I took the SAT for the first time in April with about 3 weeks worth of preparation. I got a 1730 total, 590 in W and CR and 550 in M. I scored low, but I know I can focus better, plus I didn't guess AT ALL, which I should've. I've been working on SAT prep over the summer and I now see myself capable of getting in the 700s in CR and W, but I feel as if I am not getting anywhere when I prep for math. Are there any good FREE online sites with good SAT Math prep or just SAT prep in general? I've already used up most of collegeboard's online questions and I already have a prep book. Help would be greatly appreciated, thank you so much.

My goal, at least 2000. Min. W-700 CR-700 M-600

I would suggest using Grubers math. Everyone raves about it. But if you’ve gotten through a substantial portion of practice problems and haven’t been capable of breaking the 600s I can’t say you are ever going to score in the 700s or anything. Aparently Dr. Chungs is a really good math review.

I disagree with chiclanda. You clearly don’t understand the concepts, so you need to review them thoroughly and practice till you become very good at problem solving. It usually just comes down to reading the problem and putting it into mathematical form. If you don’t know how to do an answer while you’re taking a test, then just go for the plugging in random numbers solution and see which answer works. Honestly that’s all problem solving is. The challenge is to learn all the concepts. For this, use Grubers.

I agree, I think the conceptual understanding is my biggest issue. I know I’m capable of improving without a doubt, I just have to work harder. I will look into Grubers. Thank you.
