Stuck at 1800

I recently took a gruber's diagnostic test (math), and got only 5 questions wrong. On the sat math section, I'm stuck in the 550-610 range. 1800 total. I am a 3.9 student w/ all AP classes. I'm not an dumb and I need to get at least a 2150 and I'm not going anywhere. PSATs are coming up in about ten days, what do I do? Don't give me the "SATs don't matter that much" speech; BS/MD programs seem to think otherwise.

I have a grubers book because it’s math refresher is great but anyways.

I took 2 practice tests from it this weekend just the reading and math sections, 630 math 620 reading first one 630 math 610 reading.

I took a blue book test yesterday 730 reading 680 math, the last math section I finished in half the time but didn’t feel like checking my answers and I missed 2 easy ones so that could have been a 700 easily.

Anyways, try taking a blue book test, you’ll be surprised. Also now I’m only using the grubers tests for math because the way the questions are for the CR is so specific that to study with it’s better to only use the BB, at least once you’re in the high 600 range.

stuck at like 2250 here… woe is me.

I took a practice psat today (grubers) and got a 174. All of my scores since the beginning of the summer have been in the 1700-mid1800 range. I took a Blue Book test in the middle of the summer and scored in the same range. And SheepGetKilled, that is not a score you should be unhappy with.

1) the more practice tests you take, the easier it will get since you’ll recognize the same types of problems over and over again.

2) make sure when you take a practice test, that you really understand why you missed the problems you do. if you’re making dumb mistakes, be more careful and make a point of checking your work. if you’re missing vocab questions, study vocab

3) #1 again

stuck at 1900. wanna cry, I really want 2100++
