Figuring this out

<p>So I’ve heard two descriptions of the Brown student body:</p>

<li><p>Brown students wear burlap sacks, and listen to Phish on the quad while tossing a frisbee and discussing how The Man is trying to ruin the environment. This is between helping orphans with leukemia and a peace protest against the War in Iraq.</p></li>
<li><p>Brown students are a diverse bunch: hippies, jocks, preps, goths, gays, rich kids, poor kids, academics, preprofessionals, etc. And it’s pretty spread out.</p></li>
</ol>

<p>Those are the two descriptions I’ve heard. So which is true? Any Brown students around?</p>

<p>well, i think brown has the 1 sterotype, but most any school will be like 2. plus there can be rich-jock-hippies and there can be poor-gay-hippies or prep-goth-prefessionals. make sense?</p>

<li>is more accurate, but if you would be annoyed by 1., maybe you shouldn't go, cause there are a lot of 1. types.</li>
