Filler Extracurriculars--list them or not?

Hey ya'll I'm a junior who has a pretty long list of assorted extracurricular activities, including JV (non varsity) tennis freshman year. My mom is telling me to list it, but I've long stopped playing. The thing is, I won a couple tournament awards for school tournaments and it was a great learning experience so is it ok to list as an extracurricular on the common app or a resume? I'm afraid it'll look bad compared to my other activities like orchestra, which I've won a state award in, and make me look like a quitter. On the other hand, I've got good numbers and stuff so it would make me look a bit more well rounded.

Should it be mentioned at all? It'd make a decent essay I think but idk about listing it.

Hmm, you could honestly go either way. Since you won awards for it, it may be worth mentioning. But yes, it definitely is ok to list it on a resume/CA. If you decide to list tennis though, I’d arrange it so that it’s at the bottom of your list (b/c it’s not as strong as your other ECs, like orchestra).

If you have enough activities, I’d leave tennis out, especially because you’re not playing anymore.
