<p>Is it mandatory by 11/5 or would the Regular deadline be ok? I thought it was just for if you wanted an estimate. My mom is paranoid that due to the economic crisis Stanford will take less un-wealthy applicants due to a potential decreases in their endowment (though I've tried to reassure her the process is need-blind...)</p>
<p>I'm pretty sure its a mandatory deadline. I would highly doubt that a school like Stanford will award less financial aid due to the present economic situation. I might even go so far as to say they will award more.</p>

<p>and its mandatory. they give you your financial aid decision if you are admitted.. so yeah. if you apply without the fin aid stuff you won't be considered for it.</p>

<p>I would like to know what this Financial Aid Profile is also. I searched the Stanford website and found some deadlines but I still don't know what it actually is. Does anyone have a link to the form or clue me in on where I can find it?</p>
