Would this be a bad combination? Like, would being a film production major hurt my chances of getting into a grad school for psychology.
My heart is truly in film but my parents also want me to get a more practical degree and I've heard that your undergrad degree doesn't matter all that much when applying for grad school so I think this would be the best option for me if it's possible...

I’m telling you right now. If you major for something that your parents think you should major in and you’re against it, you’re bound to do bad. Film Production for Grad is pretty good. Although, means a lot of money. Film Production for undergrad is good as well. Just never do both. You’d be taking the same classes and wasting money.

For many grad programs there are many courses you should have taken as an undergrad. I am thinking that you can’t just jump into a psych grad program without prior knowledge and courses in that major. Perhaps take some psych courses as an undergrad and even minor in it, see if you are interested. I know someone who combined economics with has undergrad film program (also to take something “practical”). He discovered this interest when he got to college, so maybe you will also find something that interests you to minor in. Good luck!
