I have been accepted into the film programs at Montana State University and University of North Carolina School of the Arts. I am having a hard time deciding which school I should go to. MSU's program is new and different than what its been in the past and I think it may be one of the next big film schools. UNCSA (from what I can tell) has a acclaimed program. Any advice as to which school I should go to? I love all parts of film but I hope to be an editor, if that makes a difference.

Where did you choose? Are you happy? My daughter is choosing between UNCSA and SCAD, and is accepted at both. Any advice? Thanks
So your daughter already was accepted at UNCSA? When did she interview? We are still waiting. We are from NC
Hi Filmmomnc - we are in NY and also still waiting to hear…have you heard anything at all from the admissions office via email?
Hello there, my son is in his second year of film school at UNCSA. He has had a great experience there and really loves it. They spend lots of time on set and its a small school so the students seem to be very tight knit. We visited a lot of film programs and comparing them is difficult because it’s like comparing apples and oranges. If you have a kid who is sure he / she wants to be a filmmaker I think UNCSA is a very good choice. I also think that the people who work at the school seem to care about the students.
