I'm a CCC student. Fall 2009, I think I will be placed on the academic probation next semester because I withdrew a lot of courses this semester. So, I cannot pass the probation next semester(Spring 2010), my financial aid will be hold, right? But, the question is, I'm going to transfer to UC Davis in Fall 2010, so if I cannot pass the probation in Spring, will it hurt my financial aid at Davis?

It could. Every school has to have a SAP (satisfactory Academic Progress) policy for federal financial aid. They take into account your past academic history for all attempted college courses at all colleges. Whether your aid at UC Davis is affected will depend on their SAP and whether you meet their SAP requirements.

You may have a problem with aid this upcoming spring depending on your CCs SAP. I would suggest making very sure you meet the terms of your probationary period this Spring to reduce the chance of compromising your future aid.
