<p>No UIUC? You are a match but they rarely give our Merit aid and it is difficult to get accepted into the engineering with your credentials but they like to admit solid Illinois candidates which you are. Tulane I think you can get in but will not get much if any merit aid, Yes, apply to some reach schools, I am assuming you are not because you are hoping for a full scholarship. Some of my daughters friends applied to safety schools and got a full ride, which is a great idea.</p>

Just wondering, you said I wouldn’t get much merit aid at Tulane but others have told me I would get the distinguished or presidential scholarhip, so what is the reason I wouldn’t get much?</p>

<p>Thanks for chancing me! From your stats I can already tell that you have a solid chance of getting into any of these schools, so the real question is merit aid. I think you’re going to at least get a substantial amount, but the highest scholarships part is a little iffy. I think right now the only thing that’s holding you back is that ACT score. It’s high, but it could be a little bit higher. Obviously, it’s getting down to the wire now so retakes are not really an option, so I wouldn’t dwell on it to much. Nice stats, it seems like you’ve worked really hard throughout high school, hopefully it pays off (literally!). </p>
