<p>They care a lot about GPA and class rank, so they would be a definite reach for you.</p>

<p>Yeah i thought so but i liked it and my parents told me not to worry about the money and try for what i like, new class ranks and such come out on next monday and i was told mines gonna go up a lot because so many seniors had ‘senioritis’ while i got straight A’s in AP classes but it’s still really high</p>

<p>you should have no problem getting into pittsburgh… i live in pittsburgh and i know people that have gotten in < GPA then you… you have good community service and activites so i dont think you will have a problem, the rest i wont pretend to know anything about…</p>

<p>your gpa is a little low but pulling it up senior year always looks good! your SATs are a match/low match for both maryland and minnesota but theyre kinda low for george washington… GWU is weird with acceptances too i know someone who got into princeton and not into GW so i have no idea what they like, maybe a lot of community service and ECs which you do have so, i dont know… Good Luck! :)</p>

<p>The December ACT results are online. You should definitely look for them if you can, they would be a lot of help to determining your chances at these schools.
Because, for the most part, it looks like you’re very marginal at a lot of these schools, aside from the few obvious reaches.</p>

<p>I hate to say it, but Wisconsin may be out of your reach, because of your GPA.
CU Boulder you should be able to get into, but you’re a median candidate.
Penn State is one of your biggest reaches.
And Texas A&M is up there too.
The rest you’re a low match/high reach for.</p>

<p>Ebakos- haha I actually have been admitted to UMD already, i just copy and pasted this and i didnt end up applying to GW because my teacher merely forgot to write my rec. Yeah idk my gpa is low but our val has like a 3.9 UW, the way our school is run is absolutely horrid; Id chance back if you had a link but i dont know much about schools i have no clue about college</p>

<p>Shynnl haha Yeah they could have been better but i obv did my best the first time i took the sat’s was a week after being back in america, and the 2nd ( and two times i took the act) i was in a full arm cast that made me very obviously distracted </p>

<p>and i know it looks like i didin’t take a lot but only being offered 4 classes a semester and 3 if you take year londs is a pain as im sure my fellow block kids understand plus work in an internship and not living here last year. it’s rough, out of all posibilities i took one of the most rigorous</p>

<p>U of M TC may be kind of a reach. What school are you applying to? Carleton?? If you like U of M you should look into UMD, it’s very similar but a bit easier to get into.</p>
