Final Grade Disaster

Alright, so here's the situation and I'm wondering how to approach it. Final grades were due this week and posted online. All seems well, I end up waiting for my final grade in Art. My biggest question is whether it'll be an A or an B because I tend to be on that borderline. Well, to my ultimate shock, it finally posts and its...a D! For a minute I'm like...WTH? It's not possible!

And it's not. I've done everything right in that class. It's just not possible. So I figure I'll email the professor (who's hard to contact, this I know) but she hasn't replied. She won't be back to her office for sure until June when her summer classes start. In the meantime, I'm transferring colleges and I don't want to send my final transcript with this grade. Especially when I seriously think there's been an error.

And so heaven falls onto hell and crashes right into my world.

Ask the dean if there’s anyway to see the exams despite her absence.

A professor once put an “F” in for me when it was supposed to be an “A” because he looked at the wrong line on the roster when putting it in the system. He was also away and I needed to order a transcript that very day for a scholarship, so I simply went to the division director and asked her to get it changed, which she did. Professors can always be contacted by their superiors while away if necessary, so just go talk to someone tomorrow and see what they can do.

I called the department, but they just left her a phone message. The chair just forwarded the email I sent him to her. The school pretty much leaves me at her mercy if she ever feels like dealing with it.
