I’m currently in a sticky situation.
I currently attend Southern Connecticut State University (i’m a sophomore) and was recently accepted to Quinnipiac University for my upcoming fall semester. I was told by Quinnipiac that at the end of this semester I need to submit an updated transcript (for this current semester) that shows “satisfactory academic progress”. Currently, I am struggling in a math class. If I were to fail, would that prevent me from attending Quinnipiac? If I get below a certain grade, would it prevent me from attending Quinnipiac? All my other grades are in the A-B range.
A D or F isn’t likely to be satisfactory academic progress. Go to the Professor, the tutoring center, or hire a tutor, and study hard for your final. Email the transfer office and ask them thi question.
Do you think that means they won’t accept the credits for that class, or they will completely reject my already accepted application? Sorry for all the questions, I’m just worried.
I would call and ask. Is the grade not salvageable? I doubt they would accept the grade should you be accepted.
When you submit your transcripts, they will see the grade. Then they will take some kind of action. It’s better to figure out a solution. They will notice.
