Finance/Accounting & Supply Chain Management Dual Concentration?

Hello all!

I am currently a freshman and Northeastern University’s DMSB. I am hoping to do a dual concentration in either Finance/Accounting and Supply Chain Management, but am slightly worried about the relationship between the two and if it’s too much of a stretch. Is this a useful combination to have when it comes to entry-level jobs with a decent starting salary? And no, not just chasing the salary but it is definitely a factor.

Also, I am potentially minoring in Industrial Engineering as well, but that is not set in stone.

If you think a different combination would be better (preferably other than CS), I’d greatly appreciate any advice!

anybody?

Still?

Yes, it is an excellent combination. There is a heavy financial focus to supply chain management - it is a cost center for most firms and you will be tasked with ‘doing more for less’ constantly in your career. Understanding finance and (more importantly) being able to communicate SC finances to executives is a valuable skill to have.
