The finance major requires completion of a specialization, minor, or second major (choose one or more of these three options) in addition to the above listed major requirements and CBA-specific requirements eg FI 302, FI 389, MGT 300, MKT 300, GBA 490, etc.

You will see spelled out what SEA_Tide just said - both the finance and econ majors require a specialization or second major. You’ll also notice that the Economics major requires the courses you listed plus 9 additional credits of Econ electives.

Thetraveller: You can also major in economics through the College of Arts & Sciences. My son did this, as he also majored in political science and minored in math.

Momreads: son is declared a major in Bio and planning to add Econ as second major. Are we reading this correctly that it only requires CS102… Stat 260 … And then 30 hours Econ ?
My confusion is the different requirements through A&S vs CBA.

^Your son would follow the A&S requirements for Economics. Part of the reason Economics remains an option in the College of Arts and Sciences is that it makes it easier to combine economics with a major in the College of Arts and Sciences other than mathematics or foreign languages.
