Hi, so I was interested in double majoring in Finance and Economics or Finance and another business major, but I was interested in taking advantage of the specializations offered as well. Would it be reasonable to double major and double specialize (one for each major) and finish in four years (with some AP credit included) and is it worth doing? I was thinking Financial Management for Finance and Public Policy & Law for Economics
It is very easy to double major in finance and econ at Bama.
One guy even quadruple majored according to one of the Culverhouse staff who spoke to us at the Bama Bound orientation.

It’s not difficult at all. My D has a triple major in Economics, Finance and Mathematics with a minor in CBH. She has all courses required for a specialization in Quantitative Economics, Quantitative Finance, Econometrics and Forecasting (an Econ Specialization), and Banking and Financial Services (a Finance Specialization). There’s a lot of overlap. FWIW, my D is a senior and will graduate in 4 years.
