Finance career for state school students? with average GPA's

hello i plan on majoring in finance. im currently at a community college maintaining a good GPA. Now obviously i wont be transferring to a top 30 school if im lucky ill go to a decent state university, such as PITT or ASU. What type of careers offer good first year salaries, lower stress and are in demand in finance... Like what career would be easiest to break into? I don't plan on working in finance for over 6 years. I actually am only doing this to make some money to pay for flight training. and that way i have a backup in case i ever get furloughed as an airline pilot. I was thinking financial analyst?

I cannot speak to the field as a whole but only to what I know of my brother’s experience. He recently graduated from the University of New Hampshire with about a 3.3 GPA. His major was finance and he minored in economics. He is currently working as a financial analyst at an investment banking firm with good starting pay and bonuses. However, he works 80-100 hours per week and that is fairly standard for the industry from what I have gathered. I’m not sure you’ll be able to find the high salary/low stress combo in finance.
