Hi guys, this is my first post, so please have mercy on me I plan on going through ROTC at OU and majoring in financial management. I hope to become an officer after completion of ROTC and serve the full 20 years before retiring (or maybe even become a lifer if i advance far enough). I was just wondering what my chances are of becoming a budget analyst for the government or a private firm if I decide to get out of the army after 4 years or when I need a job after 20 years. I’m assuming I’ll get first choice since I’m a veteran and have years of leadership experience. I would be willing to go back to school for a masters if it is absolutely necessary. Any input would be appreciated! Thanks!
