Hi, I’m a high school student not really familiar with the US education system. Lately, I’ve been thinking of the studies I want to pursue and finance is a path that interests me. My questions are ( because the internet seems really undecided ): Is a bachelor in finance give good opportunities for an eventual master or job? Is a degree in finance a good degree?
Thank you!
(If you have any experience in the finance field, I would love to read about it!)
yes, it is, as long as you are good at quantitative subjects.
However you do not need to major in finance to have an internship in finance (various quantitative fields are ok, too).
Anything quant based, econ, or finance would work.
what are these quantitative subjects/fields precisely? I’ve never heard about them
Stats, math, econ (some econ programs are high math content / data analysis), Computer Science.
what @rickle1 said.
Sometimes also found under
