<p>I found out that they adjusted my EFC from 1366 to 4700 because of the CSS profile! We couldn’t even afford the 1366! I lost my pell grants and other federal scholarships. Now, i’m going to appeal…i wanted to know if anybody has any tips for it…i really need this to go well!</p>
<p>That sucks dude. I would say just make sure you do it fast before everyone else appeals. BU is expensive as crap.</p>
<p>gah, i know! SO EXPENSIVE!!! I really want to go there to, but there’s no way i can afford it. I have some people saying JUST DO IT and pay off the loans later, then there’s others saying go to the state college, blech</p>
<p>You should write a letter explaining any extenuating circumstances or anything unique about your fin aid situation. Sometimes the CSS profile doesn’t give an accurate picture, though it is designed to. I think I was in the same boat, but once I explained what was going on, things worked out.</p>
