So I’ve been admitted to Brown ed. Yay. But I was missing a financial aid form so I have been waiting to get my package. How long should I expect to get my package? The aid is needed to make it affordable so I’m freaking out. What do you guys think?
Call them. Ask for an extension to commit if you need it.
Definitely call them to get on their radar screen. I called them Friday morning about a concern with my daughter’s package, they asked for one more document that I sent right away, and she got an email today with an adjustment. That suggests to me that they are ON IT!
But for her, her initial aid application was complete; they just asked for an extra document on Friday. Don’t know if that matters.
It is fine if a parent calls too! That might give you more flexibility - don’t have to squeeze the phone call into your limited time after school. They are super busy and you may have to wait on hold for awhile.
