So I just got my acceptance letter from U of T like 20 minutes ago. Does anyone know when financial aid award letters/financial aid updates come out?? Im a US citizen so I put down U of T as one of my college choices on my FAFSA application (it also said that I qualified for a pell grant). When will I hear back from them?? I need to know if Im getting any financial aid before I accept my offer. Thanks!!!
Pell grants cannot not be used for international schools. The only Federal financial aid that you can use are the direct loans by the Department of Education. There are forms you have to fill out are on UofT’s financial aid page under “other lines of credit”
Oh and any admissions scholarships will be outlined in your admissions letter. If didn’t get any, the main form of funding you can get are the in course scholarships once you enroll.
