financial aid at UCLA for out of stater?

<p>Hey I'm a Nebraska resident who applied to some UC schools. I heard that aid isnt great for out-of-staters. Anyone can clarify this for me? </p>

<p>Fin Aid sucks for OOS. You’re ineligible for the Regents Scholarship, so even if you have a Nobel to your name you won’t get that one, and pretty much all the other scholarships are California Resident or Los Angeles Resident or something like that. Aim more for outside scholarships.</p>

<p>I don’t know any OOSs with financial aid. (I mean, there probably are some… I just haven’t met any.) So I would assume it’s pretty terrible.</p>

<p>I’m OOS and have some financial aid… Getting about 10% of the OOS fees back.</p>
