Financial Aid Documents

So I was just looking through the financial aid letters in my acceptance packet and I saw that you are supposed to send in your 2006 tax returns by April 16th. Is this needed or is it just in cases where people want to be reconsidered for aid?

Not exactly sure what you mean by "just in cases where people want to be reconsidered for aid?" --- Sending in your current (2006) tax return is imperative if you are applying for financial aid. The returns are used to verify info on the documents you submitted previously and to give the FA office a complete picture of you family's income.

So--yes, it is needed--don't delay. :-)

On the other hand, if you are not applying for any aid at all---you don't need to submit the tax forms.

Thanks for your help!
