financial aid for international students?

Is Middlebury generous in offering financial aid for international students?
I plan to apply ED but I'm so confused if they offer FA for international student who will apply ED like me?? I read on the website that they will follow the need- aware policy, but i will be a problem with me because my family cannot contribute much.
Do you guys think the acceptance rate of ED will be higher more than RD?

You’re confusing need blind with meeting full need. The two are different concepts. When a school is need blind, that means that your request for financial aid isn’t taken into consideration when the college decides whether or not to accept you. Middlebury is need aware for international students, meaning that they will consider whether you need aid when evaluating your application.

Once accepted to Middlebury, the college meets the full demonstrated need for all students, including international students. In other words, if you get an acceptance letter in the ED round, then Middlebury will meet 100% of your demonstrated need as determined by the financial aid office. Now your idea of what your family can afford and the college’s idea may be different. But that can be worked out after an ED acceptance.

might as well apply and see if you get accepted! i think you might have a better chance at amherst college since they are both need blind and also meet full need!

at middlebury your chances of getting in as a financial aid student could be theoretically smaller since they are need-aware for international students

Thank you guys for these advices :D
