<p>On their uncommon blog, it mentioned that the students who are waitlisted would get the same housing and financial aid offers as RD if they were accepted later. Is this actually true? Do we get the housing forms and financial aid offers now, or will they wait until they offer admission?</p>
<p>you're guaranteed housing, which means you'll get a dorm, but probably not your first pick (no Snell-Hitchcock/BJ, then).</p>
<p>for financial aid, you get the same financial aid package that you would've gotten had you been an RD accept...except you won't know what it is until they offer you admission in May. on the bright side, Chicago FA tries to meet "demonstrated need" for everyone, even waitlisters (which isn't true at a lot of other schools).</p>
