I've had a late start to financial aid forms (I submitted FAFSA on time but literally JUST submitted to css profile) and my dad is getting quite frustrated with these requirements when I only have a small shot of getting into Georgetown. Now I have to do this IDOC form and other tax forms, but I'm wondering if I can just wait until AFTER I hear back from Georgetown? Its only 10ish more days and I feel like I might not get in and my dad will waste all this time doing IDOC for nothing. Does it really make that much of a difference if I don't get IDOC in? Whats the deadline anyway?
And what other forms are required?

If you get into Georgetown and don’t submit your IDOC on time, you may not hear back from the school in terms of financial aid in time to pay your deposit. If money isn’t an issue for you, then this may not be a problem, but for the vast majority of people, doing this is extremely unwise.

The website says the FAFSA and CSS profile were due February 1st and that the tax forms are due no later than May 1st. Isn’t the IDOC the tax forms? So I don’t have to send those until after I hear back next week, correct? Or is the IDOC part of the CSS profile and are there more tax forms that I’m unaware of?

I just today sent mine. It won’t hurt admissions but it can delay financial aid. Mine was late too but you should get them in ASAP.

Thank you Lord for this thread!! I was just freaking out about all the financial aid forms as well and that I didn’t get the CSS in on time, but now that I know, thank you thank you thank you!! Will be sending them ASAP, lol
