<p>I'm applying as an international freshman applicant, and under the fin aid section, it says i need to fill out a Caltech Scholarship Data Form, which needs a Caltech UID. When do we get this UID thing, and do we need to contact their office before mailing our application, or do we get the UID if/after we are accepted/have our applications reviewed? Thanks</p>
<p>The Caltech Scholarship Data Form is completed after you've been accepted to Caltech & decided you will attend Caltech. No need to worry about it before you apply. Only Caltech students get a Caltech UID.</p>
