Financial aid help?

Has anyone received their unofficial financial aid award? Or do we need to sir in order to get it?

Go to BroncoDirect and click View my Financial Aid. Click the year ‘2014’. Then click Financial Aid Summary. Then you may also click the amount so they break it down for you as to how much money you get for what.

I haven’t received anything either. I called and ask they said its supposed to be up by this week. I just checked and they haven’t.

Still nothing there? I’m still waiting

it’s out…i got it and i haven’t SIRed yet

I got it too! :)

How do I do SIR? Does SIR mean paying the enrollment fee to CPP?

Btw, my financial aid is not up. I can only view financial aid summary. When will I know how much I’m receiving from Pell Grant, Cal Grant, etc???

Where are you guys seeing the fa info?

I think the sir is just the deposit, although I’m not positive.
I see my financial aid in the bronco account.

I just got my estimate!!! Sweet.

I have a question!
Does the package include fafsa or cal grants?

Can anyone view how much they’re getting from awards such as pell grant, cal grant etc? I can only view my estimated cost of attendance. I don’t think that’s my financial aid. It lists out how much is needed for dorming, transportation, fees, and loans. Is that what you are viewing too @oreocory

I haven’t been able to see any info regarding my aid, but I still have verification forms to turn in. Can I fax those in, or do I personally have to hand them in?

I saw it under my financial aid.

Yeah that’s what I have too. But according to them it is that. So I assume it doesn’t include fafsa and cal grant.

I got a cal poly grant/scholarship

My aid has a list of exactly how much i am receiving from which grants, plus a list of loan options. It includes a SUG and pell grant.

Yeah that’s what I have! But they said that this was it. So I assume it doesn’t include cal grants and fafsa.

when you do your fafsa, you are applying for the pell grant. So effectively, the fafsa is by extension the pell grant. my cal grant hasnt processed yet (it should be processed by the end of may), but when it does, it will replace the SUG for a similar amount. you might be in the same boat.

@ac40507 how much is your cal poly grant?
