Financial Aid IDOC/Attestations

Hello, when I checked my decisions online, it said that I was admitted to Tepper but did not complete the attestations form for financial aid. When I looked at the FAT letter, it said I needed FAFSA, CSS, IDOC, and the attestations to receive the aid package, but I have not done the IDOC either because my family did not know about them until today (we filled out FAFSA and CSS by the Feb 15 deadline). If I do it now, will I still be able to get financial aid?

Also, how do I actually complete the attestations? When I log into the Where am I Progress site, I don’t see a way to do it (no link or anything).

Third question: Were we supposed to be notified about the attestations? Whether through email or mail? Because we never got one.

You should’ve received an email from the College Board with the following subject shortly after you completed the CSS Profile-“IDOC Notification - Your Next Step for Financial Aid”. Google IDOC and go to their website.

@Benchmark236 we dug through our emails and found it today. We’re just wondering if we’d still be able to get financial aid, and what to do for attestations. Thanks!

I think the attestation is in idoc. I am pretty sure you can still be considered for financial aid. I read somewhere you only needed the fafsa to be considered for Carnegie Scholarships. If awarded one, you have to submit everything else.

But for just need based aid, I am sure it is fine. We are just submitting all of our documents. it might delay you getting your package.

My son also got in to MIT and we had not submitted any financial aid. They said we could still do it, we would just get the aid package later than those that submitted by the deadline.

@Texasmom12 I see, thank you very much!
