Financial Aid Notification- Further clarification has been requested

<p>In my studentapp financial aid notification, I see a message that goes,</p>

<p>Further clarification has been requested separately in order to continue reviewing your file. Please contact Student Services if you are unsure of what is required.</p>

<p>Does anyone know what this could mean?
My parents are living in a foreign country so I submitted their country’s 2009 tax return instead of IRS 1040 or W-2 Form, if that helps at all.</p>

<p>They sent me an email and a snail mail letter saying what I needed to send.</p>

<p>@ready2011, when did you receive that mail? Because I didn’t receive any mail from Boston College since my acceptance letter in Dec.</p>

<p>Do they require these credentials for all applicants, because I know when my brother applied(didn’t get admitted) last year they never asked him for it; but when my cousin applied(got admitted) they asked him for it?</p>
